About me and my Counselling
I currently live in Mansfield , East Midlands with my wife and my 2 boxer dogs Lenny & Lola! From an early age I had a passion for helping those in need and this has grown over the years. There are so many challenges we face in life and it's easy to feel overwhelmed and underprepared. Sometimes it's just nice to talk to somebody to gain a different perspective on some of the things which may be worrying us.
I gained 'A' levels in Psychology and English before going on to complete my B.Sc (Hons) degree in Applied Social Studies. I subsequently obtained a Masters Degree in Psychoanalytic Studies, which is where I decided I really wanted to go into Counselling. I have experience in Mental Health, writing and delivering training on a national level to over 350 staff and managers. I am now a qualified and accredited Counsellor and have co-written a book on relationships, which was published in 2015. You, me and us is available to purchase from the Living Life to the Full site. I firmly believe we all have the right tools to cope, but sometimes we can have problems locating these and that's when a Counsellor can help. By empowering you to explore your feelings and understand your goals I will help you to locate those tools and take control, equipping you not just in the here and now, but also for the future.
I am accredited by the National Counselling Society and work within their ethical framework.
